Who doesn't love a good smile? ( i heart faces)

This week's theme over on one of my favorite everyday blogs is "smiles"!

It's simple really, there's gotta be a person in it, smiling.......or at least simple you might think.  I thought it'd be an easy pick but really there are so many of my favorites that meet this category it was hard to choose!!

I decided to go with one of my most recent shoots (you can see more from this session in my previous post if you'd like) and I decided to choose one of my most tenderly favorite pictures to date!  Check it out  and enjoy!

Check out more great smiles on the I heart faces webblog!

Black and White: I heart faces

This week's challenge on I heart faces is "dramatic black and white."  I was thinking of a few different options for my entry, but being as I just had my fabulous shoot with Jessica yesterday I thought what isn't more dramatic than a pregnant lady who could "pop" at any minute!

I think this picture evokes pure beauty and warmth, even in its state of stark black v. white.  The irony is so dramatic to me, I love it!

Enjoy!

I heart Angles! (no really, I love them!)

I think one of the things that drew me into photography was the creative use of angles when creating beautiful images.  It is so spectacular how different the same subject can appear depending on which angle is chosen to capture it!  C'mon now, we've all experienced that retched shot of ourselves where we've blamed the shutter's angle--"now THAT's a bad angle!"  In any-case one of my favorite daily blog-stops
has their weekly photo competition featuring angle's, (and faces), so I thought I'd enter in hopes of hearing "now THAT's a good angle!"

Enjoy!

I heart Faces "Hands on Fun"

This week I heart faces is hosting a surprise give-away with their photo competition.  The theme is "hands on fun" so the image must focus on hands.  I had a hard time choosing this one, but I decided to go with the image below because the focus was more on hands (and feet) than anything else...even if it wasn't my FAVORITE.  :)
